1. Inhalation – inhalation of essential oils can enhance both physical and psychological well being at the same time.  Four methods of inhalation include:Aromatherapy oils

  • Diffuser – add 6-8 drops of pure essential oils to the water
  • Mister (for room) – add 45 drops of pure essential oil to 30 ml of water
  • Mister (for body/face) – add 15 drops per 30 ml of water
  • Tissue – add 1 drop of essential oil to a tissue and inhale or tuck in to your pillow at night

2.  Massage –  Pure essential oils need to be diluted in a carrier oil or lotion/cream base before use – 7 – 15 drops per 30 ml base.  Essential oils coupled with the power of touch can be bring many benefits.

3.  Bath – Add 8 drops of essential oil to a full tub or 4-6 drops in a foot bath.  Close the door, keep in the vapours, and soak for 15 minutes.
