The Essential Green Smoothie

Smoothies are a great way to pack in all sorts of vitamins and nutrients and this smoothie is a winner both for flavour and health benefits.  It’s the green smoothie that doesn’t taste green.

1 frozen Banana

1/2 avocado 

handful of spinach

1 1/2 cups of almond milk or other unsweetened milk of your preference (ie. hemp, oat, coconut, soy) – add more or less depending on how thick you want it

1 date

a pinch of cinnamon
